Gaylord Sportswear was established in 1980 supplying the sailing world with regatta clothing that had boat names and Yacht Club burgees. That means we’ve been screen printing and embroidering your garments for over 20 years. In addition to the screen printing and embroidery on clothing and bags, we now offer a variety of other customization including heat transfers and sublimation on Cool Max type of shirts, bicycle jerseys and mugs. We have expanded our customer base to include businesses, camps, and events of all kinds and our yachting clientele has grown to include power boats.

As a supplier of customized sportswear for businesses, clubs and owners of yachts we use only top quality
goods and give great service. Unique designs and prompt delivery are also
of great importance. With all the work done in-house, we are able to deliver

The People Behind the Scenes
Laurie (Gaylord) Abbott — President of LGS, Inc., was born, raised and educated in Southern California. She has spent the better portion of her life involved in water related activities. In addition, in the past 12 years she has logged over 30,000 miles on a tandem bicycle all over the world with her husband, Chuck. Laurie loves to work with the customers and their projects.
Tom Bryan and Ana Paz — handle the embroidery department with their design and digitizing expertise. They have been with us for over 18 years, collectively.
Maria Perez — our screen printing production manager, and her crew have been with us for over 16 years. They have good knowledge of the screen printing process and keep a good eye for quality control.
Nancy Davidson and Jody Bryan — our artists, has also been with us for over 18 years. They are both very talented and can do amazing things with your projects. They can help with new ideas or simply just refine your existing layout.
Spring — our shop dog, has been with us just 3 years now. She sleeps very well through all the noise of production.
